When you create an account, we collect your email address, name (optional), and password (hashed). When you use the API, we log request metadata (timestamp, file type, page count, processing time) but do not store the documents you upload.
We use your information to provide the BharatOCR service, communicate with you about your account, process payments, and improve our OCR models. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Documents uploaded via the API are processed in memory and immediately discarded after processing. We do not store, cache, or retain any uploaded documents or extracted text.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and secure token management. API keys are stored as hashed values.
Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
